The International Visionary Award is an annual hairdressing competition, created by the Alternative Hair Show , which recognizes creative talent and vision internationally. The competition, now in its 20th year, offers hairdressers from around the world the opportunity to make their mark on the global stage. The competition was founded by Anthony Mascolo , president of the Alternative Hair Show. It comprises several categories. Currently, the categories include Cut and Color, Men's, and Avant-garde.
